Hatha & Vinyasa Yoga
Classical postures woven into flowing movement with breath — strength, suppleness and steadiness together.
Hatha's roots reach back over a thousand years in India, codified in texts like the 15th-century Hatha Yoga Pradipika; vinyasa flow descends from the great 20th-century teacher Krishnamacharya and his students.
Stiffness, stress and a restless body — needing a practice that strengthens and steadies at once.
About This Practice
Hatha is the mother tradition of physical yoga: postures held and refined to open the body and still the mind. Vinyasa sets those postures into flowing sequences, one breath per movement. Together they build a practice that is strong yet meditative — a moving stillness.
Classes open with centring and breath, flow through sun salutations and standing sequences toward deeper postures, and close with deep relaxation. Teachers offer variations for every level, so both new and seasoned practitioners work at their honest edge.
