Naturopathic Medicine
Root-cause natural medicine — treating the whole person, not just the symptom label.
Formalised in 19th-century Europe through 'nature cure' pioneers Vincent Preissnitz and Sebastian Knieipp, carried to America by Benedict Lust, and now a licensed profession blending traditional healing with modern clinical science.
Chronic, low-grade issues — fatigue, digestion, immunity — that tests keep calling 'normal'.
About This Practice
Naturopathic medicine begins from a premise conventional care often skips: symptoms are messengers, and the task is to find and treat the terrain that produced them. Naturopathic doctors blend nutrition, herbal medicine, lifestyle and functional testing into genuinely individual treatment plans.
A consultation takes a deep history — diet, sleep, stress, environment, past illness — and often orders functional labs to see under the surface. Treatment layers nutrition and herbal protocols with lifestyle prescriptions, and works in dialogue with your existing doctors where medication is involved.
