Inner Child & Shadow Work
Gentle, transformative work with the younger selves and hidden parts that still steer your life.
Shadow work descends from Carl Jung's depth psychology of the 20th century; inner child work was developed by therapists like John Bradshaw and Charles Whitfield, and now blends with IFS (Internal Family Systems).
Self-sabotage, harsh self-talk and reactive triggers — the patterns you can see but not stop.
About This Practice
Beneath our adult lives walk the younger selves who learned, long ago, how to stay safe and loved. Their strategies — be quiet, be perfect, don't need — became the 'shadow' that still runs the show. Inner child and shadow work meet these parts with care instead of judgment, and integrate what they hold.
Guided journeys, visualisation and parts dialogue help you find, hear and reparent the younger self carrying the old wound; shadow work extends this to the disowned qualities projected outward. What once triggered you becomes a teacher, and self-sabotage softens into self-leadership.
