EFT Tapping
Acupressure tapping on meridian points to calm the nervous system and release emotional charge — fast.
Developed by Gary Craig in 1995 from Roger Callahan's Thought Field Therapy, EFT has since been studied extensively in clinical trials for anxiety, PTSD and phobias.
Anxiety, phobias, cravings and intrusive thoughts — charged reactions you want to unwind without years of therapy.
About This Practice
EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) pairs gentle tapping on the same acupressure points used in Chinese medicine with voicing what troubles you. The pairing sends a calming signal to the brain's alarm centre, allowing fear, craving or hurt to lose its charge — often remarkably quickly.
In a session, the practitioner guides you to name the issue, rate its intensity, and tap through the point sequence while speaking the truth of it. Layer by layer, the emotional fog lifts. EFT is easy to learn as a self-help tool for the moments between sessions.
