Rebirthing Breathwork
Conscious connected breathing that gently releases what the body has held since its earliest days.
Developed by Leonard Orr in the 1970s in the United States, born from his own spontaneous experiences of connected breathing — and since refined into a global practice of gentle, trauma-informed release.
Emotions held for years — tightness, anxiety and patterns you can trace back further than you can remember.
About This Practice
Rebirthing is built on a simple discovery: when breath is allowed to flow without interruption — a circular, connected rhythm with no pause between inhale and exhale — the nervous system opens, and suppressed emotion and tension surface to be released, often with deep peace on the other side.
Lying down, the breather is guided into a connected breath, and the facilitator supports whatever arises — tingling, emotion, memory, release — until the wave completes into stillness. Sessions close with grounding and integration. Many people describe accessing a lightness, as if something old was set down.
